Cats and Kittens Available
All cats and kittens we have available are advertised on our Facebook page and on this page of our website. If you can’t see any kittens advertised here, we have none available so please do not message asking for any as we do not have the time to reply to the hundreds of messages we get asking for kittens. If you are interested in adopting any of our cats, please read the ‘adoption process’ section of our website and complete an adoption application form, stating which cat or kitten you are interested in. Please only send in applications for cats marked as Available. Applications or enquiries for unavailable or non-specific cats and kittens will be disregarded.
We do not rehome young kittens singularly to homes without existing cats, however, we are happy to rehome in pairs.
We rehome very much according to the individual needs of each kitten.
Kittens will not be rehomed out of area as
they need to be brought back to Donaldsons vets for second vaccinations and neutering.
Adoption fees for all cats and kittens are stated below:
Adults (over a year old) £135 and, unless otherwise discussed, includes:
Neutering
Vaccinations (may need taking back to the vets for second dose at no extra cost)
Microchip (chip company may charge an admin fee of approx £10 to transfer ownership of cats chipped prior to coming in to rescue, nothing to do with rescue)
Flea and Worm Treatment

5 Weeks insurance
Kittens (under a year old) £135 and, unless otherwise discussed, includes:
Neutering (booked in via rescue at 5 months of age)
Vaccinations (may need taking back to the vets for second dose at no extra cost)
Microchip (chipped when neutered at 5 months of age. If over 5 months please see details for adult microchip)

JOEY
Name: Joey
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 12/8/18
History: Surrendered to rescue due to not getting in with the other cat in the household. He is very dominant.
Character: Joey is not for the faint hearted! He is a lovable rogue! He is 4 years old and absolutely massive! He is 7.8kg but not so much fat, more ‘big boned’. He is a very loving cat and will come looking for attention. He loves to cuddle up on your knee and be told he is handsome. He will purr his little heart out for you BUT, When the purrs stop, you have to be on your guard! When he has had enough, he will give you a warning. If he gets annoyed he will give you a swipe. For this reason, he needs a home with people who are not too annoying (🤣) and are good at picking up on body language! He is a fun cat and likes to play and hunt’ and ’kill’ his toys. He has good recall and will come running like a little dog when you call him.
Despite being neutered, and having been well loved, Joey is a very dominant cat with a lot of bottled up energy. He needs a lot of outdoor space to burn off his energy, climbing, hunting, exploring etc. A rural or semi-rural home would be just perfect for him.
When Joey gets scared, he can show flashes of aggression. This usually happens when he feels under threat and misreads situations. He will take time and patience to settle in to a new home as he doesn’t cope well with change.
Needs: Joey needs a home with kind and loving people who will work on channeling his energy. He would really benefit from somewhere rural without many other cats around, but with lots of space to explore. He needs to be an only pet in a home without children.

PUDDING
Name: Pudding
Gender: Male
Age: 8 years
History: surrendered to rescue when his owner could no longer care for him.
Character: Pudding is a very affectionate boy who loves to sit with his human and snuggle. He willingly accepts strokes and will give you a nudge if you forget to pay him enough attention.He does have a couple of spots he doesn’t like you to touch but he lets you know where they are. He has been used to going outside and loves to explore, so he would not enjoy being an indoor only cat. He has lived with a cat before and would prefer not to live with other cats going forward. He has lived with dogs and was terrified of them 😔
Needs: Pudding would best suit a calm home, where he can feel safe. He would benefit from an owner who will give him a lot of love and attention.

ESMAE
Name: Esmae
Gender: Female
DOB: 10/9/22
History: Admitted to rescue in a neglected state, having been failed by her owners
Character: Esmae is a very timid girl who has been living in a home she hasn’t felt safe in. She was scared of the resident dog, and the other cat in the house was hostile towards her. She is friendly and enjoys strokes when you get near her. She sometimes backs off when you approach her for strokes. She has been neglected in her previous home and is not a fan of being picked up. She was extremely thin, but is gaining weight nicely. She eats well and loves the dreamies!
Needs: Esmae needs a calm home where she will feel safe and get lots of love and attention. She needs to feel safe so she can grow in confidence. She would prefer a home without other pets or young children.

PUMPKIN
Name: Pumpkin
Gender: Female
DOB: 10/9/22
History: Admitted to rescue in a neglected state, having been failed by her owners
Character: Pumpkin is a very affectionate girl. She loves to be stroked and will head-butt you for attention. She is not a massive fan of being picked up but will come to you willingly. She is vey sweet and likes to be near you. She has been neglected in her previous home and was admitted with a severe flea infestation. As a result she has a considerable amount of fur loss around her back end. She is now completely flea free and her fur is growing back. She was extremely thin, but is gaining weight nicely. She eats well and loves the dreamies!
Needs: Pumpkin needs a home where she will feel safe and get lots of love and attention. She would love to be able to go outside when she is settled in a new home. She will be a great family cat. She doesn’t like sharing her home with another cat. May be ok with a cat-friendly dog.

Can I live with dogs? Maybe 1 cat-friendly dog
Can I live with children? Yes
Suitable for indoor only? No. I would prefer to be able to explore outside

BESSIE
Name: Bessie
Gender: Female
DOB: 12/8/21
History: surrendered by her owners when they could no longer care for her
Character: Bessie is a really sweet and affectionate cat. She loves to sit on your knee and have cuddles. She sprawls out and purrs her little head off! She is always pleased to see you when you get home and will come when you call her. She’s a really sweet cat and will be a great addition to the family.
Needs: Bessie needs a home with lots of love and attention. She has lived with children before without any issues. She has lived with her daughter up until coming in to rescue but they do not get on. She would be better as an only cat. She has always been allowed outside and would not be happy as an indoor only cat. She has never been around dogs but should be ok if they leave her alone.

Can I live with dogs? Untested but may be ok with one cat friendly dog that leaves her alone.
Can I live with children? Yes
